For Old Time's Bake

The brief required us to create a community asset and co-working space by repurposing a section of an old building in Royal William Yard, Plymouth. To develop a strong contextual understanding, we explored the site's rich history. I chose to design a combined do-it-yourself bake studio and board game room, as this concept caters to Plymouth’s diverse demographic. With a significant student population and a growing community of older residents, this space provides an engaging, intergenerational environment where people of all ages can socialize, collaborate, and unwind.
